Elizabeth Mihopoulos

Elizabeth Mihopoulos, EdD has worked in the higher education sector for more than twenty-five years, successfully leading multiple departments including admissions, financial aid, marketing and communications, student affairs, registration and records, international student services, and continuing education. Having served in the role of vice president of enrollment management for over ten years at institutions such as the San Francisco Art Institute and Saybrook University, she understands first-hand the challenges and opportunities that exist for higher education institutions. She has led diverse teams spanning across departments, orchestrating strategies to improve operations and achieve departmental and institutional goals.
Elizabeth’s research interests include factors associated with the financial instability of colleges in the United States and the practical innovations and leadership concepts needed to address these challenges.
Elizabeth holds a BA in English from San Diego State University, an MA in TESOL from San Francisco State University, and an EdD in Entrepreneurial Leadership in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
She lives in Mountain View, CA with her husband, teenage children, and two curious cats. She enjoys spending time experiencing art, hiking the beautiful Bay Area, and indulging in the fabulous cuisine the area has to offer.
